Easter & Ginger Blossoms

If you celebrate Easter, I hope you had a nice weekend! Anna and Natalia had a great time coloring eggs...and putting together all the little plastic ones. I took this picture when they were in an egg-making frenzy!

I've got a spam infiltrator posting on my blog! If someone can tell me how to erase comments, I'd be very happy. I didn't want to set this to moderate comments yet, so I've added a verification step. Let's see if that will stop 'em. :)

Just listed....this headband that's made to match Sandi Henderson's GingerBlossom fabric line. In addition to the one pictured below, I've got another headband in my Etsy store with a different GingerBlossom fabric. I'll be adding these and other new designs to my website after the weekend. I didn't want to work TOO hard....it's my birthday today!!!! (I'm thirty-something....)

Something is fishy here....

I'm taking a break from my Website and eBay listings, but it doesn't mean I stop looking at auctions! Check out this adorable fishy set by funky*monkey*boutique!

If you're interested in where to get a matching set of fish bows, you can find them in my Etsy store. Bows would be shipped after April 1 because of my spring break...but you would still have them in time to wear with your custom outfit!

Have a wonderful week, and if I don't pop back on here before then, a happy Easter! We plan to visit my parents and have a nice Easter celebration.

A garden full of bows

In my final auction before about a two-week break on eBay, I've listed this garden flower bow for the BowBetties Art Challenge. It's listed at .99 with no reserve; you may choose to purchase two. It's inspired by a Monet painting of his wife and child in front of his flower garden. Beautiful painting, and a bow that any little girl would love! Lots of frills, bling, flowers...and it's Anna's favorite color, PINK! Plus, I thought the toddler in the painting looked a lot like Natalia...and she's wearing a hair bow!

We finally seem to all be feeling better in my household right now. I'm hoping to get out this weekend and have some family fun. It's been cold here in northern Indiana since before Christmas and we finally broke 50 degrees today. Anna and Natalia had fun playing outside after school. Unfortunately we're going back into the 30s next week, but at least it was a hint that spring will be coming soon.

Nylon bowbands for babies

Just listed today on eBay -- coming soon to my website and Etsy stores -- are nylon bowbands! The 3-inch bow is mounted to a stretchy nylon band, perfect for babies and toddlers. You will fall in love with these, and want them in every color under the rainbow! Check out the colorful auction!

Anna did a wonderful job on her pastel drawing of a mallard for the Federal Junior Duck stamp competition. She will be competing in Division 1, for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Great job, Anna!

New "About Me" page!

It's been nearly a year since Beth of the*pink*tulip completed a top-notch About Me page for me. I've loved it! But, it was time to coordinate with the website that Shawna of pixelperfectdesigns made for me in late July, so I had her create my new About Me page. She did a wonderful job, don't you think?

For those of you who aren't as "into" eBay, the About Me page is a seller's main advertising page. It's the only place that sellers are allowed to link to an off-eBay website. For boutique designers, it's a spot to showcase your work. When I was new to eBay, I didn't quite understand the importance of a professional-looking page, but I soon learned!

Have a great weekend! As for me, I'm going to help Anna make a drawing for the Federal Junior Duck Stamp competition. She has decided to paint/color a mallard. Then I have a few hours of work for "work" to do, and several sets of mermaid bows to start on. So, a busy weekend ahead! Thanks to all who placed bids and purchased sets from me on eBay and my website this week! Just a reminder to get your Easter orders in this week; I am taking an annual vacation from bowmaking (and all things associated with it, including blogging, LOL) from March 15-31.

Autism Speaks through Bows

The BowBetties are having a charity launch this week to support Autism awareness. One-hundred percent of the proceeds of my poodle bow auction are going to the charity Autism Speaks. I've started the set at only $14.99 with FREE shipping!
