Petite Cover Girls Accessories!

This week I am participating in the Petite Cover Girls lauch, pairing with designers paintedbutterflystudio and my*toot*toot* boutique. Above is a matching bow set for the popular snowman Smores fabric.

Then there's a bow set to match the adorable outfit by my*toot*toot*boutique:

The headband to match the Smores fabric is shown in the post below. Feel free to Buy it Now on eBay, or go to my Website and purchase it there!

Also, with the many changes upcoming on eBay in October, I will be starting my eBay listing prices at levels that more accurately reflect the average selling price of high-quality bow sets. Ebay boutique has become less about "auctions" and more about "buying at the starting bid" for most sellers, so you will begin to see more Buy-It-Nows from me, as well as start prices that already include shipping cost. I'm not trying to "bamboozle" anyone -- you can do the math and see that the shipping isn't actually free, but has been rolled into the auction starting price. But eBay will be offering better auction placement for FREE shipping, so I intend to work within the eBay system as best as I can. :) A gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do!

New Halloween line arriving; woven headbands are IN!

Just a quick note today to display a couple of new products on my website! Woven headbands are IN, and can be purchased in either the 1/2-inch or 1-inch size. Thanks to Emily of VeraLana Photography for the awesome photo of the headband! I paired with Painted Butterfly Studios (the outfit!!) and VeraLana for the wonderful collaboration, which includes two outfits, the headband and a bow set. All will be on sale beginning August 28.

Also, there are two new Halloween offerings in my store, including this preppy large layered set and a wonderful flower headband. They will be going up for auction on eBay on Monday as well. Thanks for looking!

The simple life....

This weekend I took about 36 hours to myself and traveled just 45 minutes away to Amish country, where I did a little shopping, took a few photos and spent time alone in my hotel room, making some bows and clippies. It was my first time alone in almost three years, and the silence was golden! Although I wanted to take a few more pictures, I didn't want to treat the Amish as a spectacle (I mean, I'd feel weird being photographed driving along in my car)...so I only took a couple of pictures of this one buggy. The mom had just left to go shopping, and I asked her permission to take a photo. I told her I would not photograph her children -- the Amish feel it is vain to be photographed.

"Classroom Kitty" M2MG bows

Finished a set of bows to match Gymboree's newest line, Classroom Kitty! They are listed on eBay until Thursday. I finished them after going to an Arts and Crafts festival in the morning with my family...so much fun!! It's one of the Midwest's largest. I bought a fall outfit for Natalia and a hat and jacket for Anna. I also met a fellow bow designer at the festival, who had a booth full of bows. I was glad to see her there!
